Prickly heat occurs when kids produce a lot of sweat, but the sweat can not go off maximumly because the skin pores are clogged by dead skin. Prickly heat is often the case when the weather is hot with high humidity. Symptoms of prickly heat are tiny red and itchy spots, usually spread in the back, abdomen, neck and armpits. Prickly heat can usually heal itself after a few days.
This often happens to kids. Itchy and small small red spots usually appear which scald and pus-filled. Over time they will form a scab. This usually occurs in children who lack hygiene. How to treat it is to give an ointment or cream from the doctor.
This occurs in children aged 6 months to 2 years. Start with high fever in a few days then red rash appears to be white when pressed. Red patches are usually located around the neck, face, chest, hands and feet. When experiencing this, kids’ apetite will reduce and they will be limp and listless. Chickenpox usually begins with a fever (38.3oC -38.8oC) for a few days, headache and sore throat. Then red spots appear, filled with liquid in the back, face and spreading throughout the body. The disease is caused by a virus and it’s contagious. Kids with chickenpox should take a break and stay at home the spots on his body disappeared and recover.
